Point your camera at any food and tap the scan button. SportPrice uses Google's Gemini AI to identify the food, estimate calories, and provide a macro breakdown (protein, carbs, fat). The AI processes your photo in seconds and returns results directly to your device.

Free users get 3 AI food scans per day. This resets at midnight. Upgrading to SportPrice Pro gives you unlimited scans.

AI calorie estimates are approximations based on visual analysis. They work best with clearly visible single dishes. Accuracy can vary depending on portion size, preparation method, and food complexity. We recommend using the estimates as a helpful guide rather than an exact measurement.

Exercise conversions use the MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) system combined with your personal profile (weight, height, age, gender). This gives you personalized estimates of how long various activities would take to burn the equivalent calories. Go to Settings to update your profile for more accurate results.

With your permission, SportPrice can:

  • Read: Workout data (exercise type, duration, calories burned)
  • Write: Weight and body fat percentage

This data never leaves your device. You can manage HealthKit permissions at any time in Settings > Privacy > Health.

SportPrice subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  • Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
  • Find SportPrice Pro and tap Cancel Subscription

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Yes. Your food logs, exercise data, and personal profile are stored locally on your device. Photos uploaded for AI analysis are not permanently stored on our servers. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device and open SportPrice. Your subscription status will be automatically restored via the App Store. If it doesn't restore immediately, go to Settings within the app and tap "Restore Purchases".

Troubleshooting

AI scan is not recognizing my food

For best results:

  1. Make sure the food is clearly visible and well-lit.
  2. Avoid scanning multiple different dishes in one photo.
  3. Hold your phone steady and wait for the camera to focus.
  4. Try scanning from a slightly different angle if the first attempt fails.

HealthKit data is not syncing

  1. Open iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
  2. Tap SportPrice and make sure all relevant permissions are enabled.
  3. If permissions were denied previously, toggle them off and back on.
  4. Restart the app and check again.

Subscription not showing as active

  1. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
  2. Open SportPrice and go to Settings > Restore Purchases.
  3. Check iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions to verify the subscription status.
  4. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or your device.

App is crashing or freezing

  1. Make sure you are running the latest version of SportPrice from the App Store.
  2. Ensure your device is running iOS 17.0 or later.
  3. Force quit the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen it.
  4. If the problem continues, try restarting your device.
